MREC Teaching Programs

All applicants must submit:

• A State University System application or complete the on-line UF application .

• $30 nonrefundable application fee.

• High school record and ALL post-secondary institution official transcripts .  These records must document completion of the foreign language requirement .

• It is highly recommended that you complete a paper application and request paper transcripts.  A completed admission package (application, $30 fee, all transcripts) be sent to Diane Mealo, Academic Program Coordinator at the Apopka campus.  The Academic Program Coordinator will review your packet for completeness and forward it to the Admissions Office at Gainesville.  Please send completed packet to Diane Mealo at least 10 business days before the admission deadline date.

Critical Notes:

• You must apply to a specific college and major.  For Environmental Horticulture please list TDS LNM - Apopka.  Students must meet college and major requirements which consist of pre-requisite courses and the minimum GPA required for their major.

• Apply by the deadline.  In order for an application to meet the deadline; the application, application fee, and ALL transcripts must be received by the deadline date.  Rule of thumb you can apply up to one year prior to your expected enrollment date.
